The Baltimore Orioles enjoyed a rare victory — not only because they've had so few this season, but how it was accomplished. Miguel Tejada had a season-high four hits, ended a long home run drought and drove in four runs to lead the Orioles past the Florida Marlins 11-5 Thursday night. It was only the 20th win of the season for Baltimore and the fifth in 26 games.

The Baltimore Orioles have acquired infielder-outfielder Jake Fox from the Oakland Athletics for a minor league pitcher and cash. Fox hit .214 with two home runs and 12 RBIs in 39 games for the A's this season. The Orioles sent righty Ross Wolf to Oakland. He was 0-2 with a 2.11 ERA at Triple-A Norfolk.

Carl Pavano pitched a four-hitter, and Justin Morneau and Denard Span homered to lead the Minnesota Twins past Roy Halladay and the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1 on Sunday. Pavano (8-6) won his third straight start. The right-hander struck out two and walked none in his ninth career complete game and second this season.
