The Baltimore Orioles had a good night as they defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 7-4 and ended the Rays six game win streak. The Orioles are now four games over .500 with a 15-11 record on the season.
Garrett Olson picked up the win for the Orioles to improve his record to 1-0 on the season. Olson pitched 6.2 innings while giving up four hits and two runs. Randor Bierd also gave up two runs as he pitched in relief of Olson. George Sherrill picked up his tenth save of the season as he closed out the game in the ninth inning.
Aubrey Huff connected for a two run home run to led the Orioles at the plate. Huff finished with two RBI as well did Melvin Mora. Nick Markakis, Kevin Millar, and Ramon Hernandez all had one RBI each as well.
